This client has 3 KW of grid-tied Sharp PV and 40 ThermoMax tubes that heat the domestic hot water and the radiant floor. The PV modules are the two arrays on the left, and the ThermoMax tubes are the two smaller arrays on the right.

The solar thermal system includes a 120 gallon stainless steel double walled storage tank with three heat exchange coils for solar input, radiant heat output, and a back-up low-mass boiler. The domestic hot water is drawn from this tank.

The home has an excellent unimpeded southern exposure and expansive views of Port Townsend Bay, the Jefferson County Courthouse, and other historic landmarks.
