Turner Residence - Phase II

The Turner's originally installed a 3.42 kW system on their home in 2006. Because solar PV systems are modular in nature, the Turners were able to install another 3 kW of Sanyo modules on their roof this year. Each array has it's own inverter to maximize system performance. Total system size 6.42 kW.

Carla and Brad are quite pleased with their new PV array, a 4.8 kW grid tied system composed of 24 Sanyo 200 watt mocules and an SMA 5000 watt inverter. This system will cover 36% fo their home's electrical consumption and will offset approximately 93% of their annual electrical bill in year 1 with WA State's 15 cent per kWh production incentive and sale of their green tags (carbon offsets) for 2 cents per kWh.
